We're a small indie team who loves tools. We believe good software should be like air — keeping you alive, but invisible.
The story began late one night in 2025. As developers who watch tutorials (and sometimes Netflix) while coding, we found the browser's default PiP feature crippling — the moment you popped it out, subtitles vanished.
For anyone relying on subtitles for learning or watching foreign content, it was unusable. We searched the Chrome Store, but existing extensions were either ugly, ad-filled, or data-hungry.
So we decided: Let's build our own.
PiP+ wasn't built to 'corner a market'. It was built to fix that tiny, annoying problem we faced every day. That's why it fits users' needs so well — because we were its first power users.
We don't invent needs. Every PiP+ feature—from subtitle fetching to danmaku sync—stems from our own frustrations as power users.
Language shouldn't block knowledge. With dual-subtitle support, we help users cross linguistic gaps, for learning or leisure.
We reject VC growth pressure. Fair Pro pricing supports our long-term philosophy: do it right or don't do it at all.
Runs 100% locally. Your history, cookies, and video content never leave your device.
No bloat. <1MB size, 0 background processes. Never slows down your browser.
Our roadmap is voted by users. Every line of code is written to enhance your experience.
Great tools are invisible. Set it once, forget it exists, and enjoy the flow.
Multilingual from Day 1. We understand viewing habits across different cultures.
From icon curves to animation timing, we obsess over details you might not notice.
